Why isn't my credit card swiper working?

ANSWER

MINDBODY Express® requires access to your microphone in order to work with your credit card swiper. If the swiper isn't working, you may need to grant MINDBODY Express microphone access. Here's how:

  1. Go into your Settings menu > tap Privacy > then Microphone.
  2. In the Microphone menu, you'll see the MINDBODY Express app. Make sure the toggle switch is turned on.

If you've granted MINDBODY Express access to your microphone, and the credit card swiper still isn't working, then try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Make sure the swiper is fully plugged into the audio jack on your device.
  • Turn up the volume to max on your device.
  • Restart your device.
  • If the credit card swiper is still not working, let us help you resolve the issue by contacting us through the app:
    • Main menu > tap Support and Feedback > then tap Submit Support Request
